WHILE THEY ILLEGALLY SEARCHED OUR VEHICLE
My legs were shaking so badly, I had no idea that pigs were all up in my PTSD like that, although I suppose it makes sense given how they leaped to the defense of my rapist.
After we walked away from our car, which has been towed, some asshole called us faggots and I almost went for my pepper spray before remembering that the pigs were still right there.
Also there was an obnoxious drunk on the bus but he shut up when I told him to shut up. I was surprised that it actually worked, it was kinda cool.
Fuck. Whatever. We’ll fix it. It will cost money. It will be horrid. But it’s not worth losing hard-won sobriety over even if it doesn’t feel like a fair reward for all the hard work done.
Sitting on the hard plastic seat in the back, thinking “well goodness this feels familiar somehow.” Kind of a disappointing experience. Trying to respond to their questions when being around pigs puts me in such a state that I seriously cannot remember my age, let alone what my legal name might be. Yes, frustrating.
Of course, when they let me out, we were completely unable to respond to the fucking douchebag ‘phobe, because guess who the cops would defend and protect in that situation? Not the “faggots.”
